Venice is a wonderful and romantic Italian city, and enjoying a pleasurable stay in one of the hotels in Venice Italy can add to your memorable vacation. The images of Venice with its elegant buildings, winding canals, romantic Gondolas and narrow streets are all a true representation of what you can expect. But with the many options available, you must be able to plan in advance to get the best hotel available. Make sure that the hotel you choose will make you feel at home.

Just imagine the attractions you will certainly see, as well as the romantic sights while sailing in boats through the canals. Anybody would love to be spending a couple of weeks here and in a Venice hotel. Venice hotels are one the most expensive Venice Italy hotels. Everything here cost twice as much as anywhere else in the country. Even though its the off-peak season, Venice hotels charge full-season prices all year round. If you really want to go on vacation in Venice, you have to make reservations as early as possible to secure hotel accommodations for your trip.

Fine hotels come complete with facilities and amenities such as saunas, fitness centers, restaurants, bars, 24 hour front desk, Jacuzzis, room service, business centers, laundry rooms, dry cleaning, and many others. But they have different hotel policies, so you have to check them out first and choose the one that meets your hotel accommodation requirements.

Venice is divided into six zones, divided more by their character than strict boundaries there. The Dursoduro has the university district; Cannaregio, is the historic area; San Marco, the Basilica and the famous Piazza; San Polo is where most of the locals live and mingle; Castello hosts the Venice Arts Festival; and Santa Croce has the train station. Venice is the world’s pedestrian city, and the only city where the entire public transport system is based on water. Venice is best suited to those who don’t mind walking, this and the boats are the only forms of transport throughout the city.

Even though its a big city, with lots to see and do, you can get from one end of the main region to the other on foot in an hour. Water boat prices can vary dramatically, so its best to ask the price before boarding the boat. Over time the city’s popularity has soared, and the number of tourists now outnumbers that of its residents, making

the more popular areas somewhat cramped during the peak months. This has led to a great deal of tourists choosing to visit the city out of season. Its no wonder that the hotels in Venice can easily work out to be more expensive than the average European city. There is a broad range of hotels in venice though, and booking your hotel in advance will help.
