Hari raya celebration is not far away now.That’s mean we have to spare some money to celebrate it.Everything needs money now especially when it comes to Hari Raya.We need money for the meals when people or relatives visit us, perhaps some “duit raya” for kids, money petrol for balik kampung (will be higher if your kampung is far from your house) and not to forget some present or “duit raya” for mom and dad.Usually that is the basic spending for Hari Raya event.But it may varies from one person to another.However the main thing still the same, all of it needs money!Is there any tips for saving money?Yes,please read 5 Tips saving money ideas for Hari Raya during fasting month which i think everybody can think of, plain and simple.

So, if you want to save some money for Hari Raya there is so much ways to be done.In fact i did some of it myself.It actually works just fine.

1)Get free food to save some money.
Save money by open fasting (berbuka puasa) at mosque.A lot of mosque or even surau provides free food for everybody.Some even provides for “Sahur” time.This can save you a lot of money,time,energy and at the same time can tighten your relationship with mosque and people.I met a lot of people brings their family together to moque too.

2)Avoid spending too much money at Bazar Ramadhan
When we are fasting, we desire more foods, especially delicious one.The fact is, delicious always come with a price.Avoid it, or minimize it if possible.If normal days we spent about Rm15 for foods, don’t make it more than that.If you follow idea 1, you may save more money.

3)Cut off buying new goods.
Just get what you only need.If your existing goods are working fine, and absolutely nothing to complaint of, why need a new one?Use what ever you’ve got and buy only when you really need it.Quit wasting your precious money.

4)Minimize petrol usage.
Avoid travelling and also minimize your petrol usage.Plan your journey well before doing so to save some petrol.If you own a car and motorcycle, choose motorcycle if possible since it save you a lot for a short distance journey.

5)Minimize electric and water usage
This may be subjective, but you can actually do something about it.During fasting month, we did not cook, perhaps you can save some bill there.In Islam, you also not encourage to take a long bath since it can decreases the Puasa rewards (pahala puasa).So, use water wisely.As for electricity bill, don’t waste it.Make sure lights are on whenever needed only.For more impact, you can watch less TV and listening to music instead.However i would really suggest if you can spend time to recite prayers and Al-Quran instead of watching TV or radio.It save your electricity bill money and at the same time a rewards from Allah.What more benefits more than that?
